"Clerk was not welcoming or personable at check-in at all. When asked for recommendations for dinner, he gave minimum answer with no directions or specifications. Television in room was inoperable. No volume and remote had no way to adjust. Housekeeping staff was very friendly. We had called ahead to state we were travelling with an elderly dog. The room we were assigned was situated on the third floor (no elevator) which was not convenient to addressing our pet's needs during our stay. Minimal pet comfort area. It's a shame as this property could be reconfigured as a unique retro boutique hotel with a little upgrade and investment. All rooms overlook the beach."
