Where do I begin….??? Upon entering the lobby we were met with “Out of Order” signs for pretty much everything. From the continental breakfast, to the lobby restrooms, parking and other common areas. We were informed that there are renovations which caused the shutdown of these basic amenities. The hotel’s website didn’t indicate that they were going through any renovations. When I asked about the breakfast options I was met with a “No, we don’t have it available “ No apologies for the inconvenience, lack of transparency on their website. The front desk staff was not pleasant or inviting at all, borderline rude. After entering my hotel room I was met with an unmade bed, tv on, and personal items in the room, basically it was occupied by another guest. When I returned to the front desk and informed them of this, I was greeted with questions. Umm… excuse me but can I get a room that’s unoccupied and clean?? They assigned us a new room, but again the amenities were not there. The in-room spa bathtub didn’t have running water, there was hair and fur all over the sofa. Only one lightbulb working in all the of the light fixtures.

This was by far the worst hotel we had ever seen! I understand they were under construction but that had nothing to do with what we saw. Elevator was filthy,”stuff smeared on walls, a floor ashtray in hallway w old vomit and ashes. Bedrm was like something out of a horror movie, picture hanging on the wall had mold under the glass, bed skirt was hanging every which way, mattress sunk in the middle, carpet hadn’t been vacuumed in ??, mold in corners. Obviously we did not stay. We did take pictures of this and more. I have never written a review like this before or left a hotel for filthy conditions.

I recently stayed at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Murrells Inlet, SC, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. The room was in poor condition and did not meet the standards I anticipated for this brand. Additionally, there appeared to be individuals in the hallways who made the environment feel unsafe and uncomfortable. I was also disappointed to find that there was no breakfast service or pool available during my stay, amenities which are typically advertised and important to many guests. It would have been helpful if the hotel had clearly communicated that they were undergoing repairs, as this impacted both the facilities and overall experience. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve future guest experiences.

The room reeked of cat pee! That was the 3rd room she finally gave us. There is cigarette smoke in every room, but the hotel is supposed to be a no smoking facility. The room was dirty, and the facet was leaking. They over charged me for the room, and the desk clerk gave me attitude about the whole thing.
