Very good hotel, clean, quiet, comfortable, an oasis so convenient, Hauptbahnhof, U & S-bahn, are close by, Marienplatz, market, churches, attractions are within walking distances. Cafe at the street corner great to get a coffee and croissant sandwiches for breakfast, mix wth locals, Lidal grocery store close by (couple of stripteases on the street but they are quiet, safe, don't bother anyone, no problems).

You could tell one of the agents at the front desk doesn't like Americans, as she seemed snobbish to us, but nice to German speakers. The beds are hard as a rock, the pillows completely flat, and the shower is tiny. Ok for one, maybe 2 nights.

Breakfast is good but should have more variety for guest who are staying 2 to 3 nights. Place is clean but towels should be changed to new ones. Towels are worn out and old.
