The room was dated but clean and had every convenience. The bed was comfortable, there were several TV channels to choose from, a nice refrigerator and microwave and even an ironing board and iron. Patrick was very friendly and accommodating and I’ll stay there again next trip.

Well, if you are looking for a fancy place, look somewhere else, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, well taken care of old style motel, this is it. It has been refurbished and has all the amenities you would want, like a good WIFI, very comfortable beds, quiet environment, and a reasonable price this is it. We stayed three nights, and were very happy. The owner, Patrick, makes you feel like you are really appreciated, and is so generous with information about food, caution about speed traps, and anything else you would need. He is truly interested in making your stay the best. We hope to come back down next year and will definitely be staying there. Our only complaint, and it is a trivial one, the provided soap bar crumbled up with first used! That was it! Wish we could give more than five stars to the motel, and Patrick!

Oldie but a Goodie!

Great stay. Very comfortable and one of the cleanest motels we have ever stayed in. The owners and staff were gracious and friendly. They know the area really well and can offer advice on where to eat and what to do while visiting. Yes the hotel is older but it's the absolute best option in town! Don't judge the book by the cover!

Outstanding service

There isn't a pool or hot tub. There isn't free breakfast. BUT what they do have is outstanding service and very friendly and helpful staff. We were running pretty late due to traffic and Patrick stayed late to get us checked in, made sure we had enough towels etc. and had a smile the whole time. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great place to stay

We have always talked about staying at Tazewell Motor Lodge. I am so glad we did. This is a very clean, no frills, very secure place. Our host Patrick was professional, friendly and helpful. Because this was our first time staying here, he upgraded our room. We travel from Michigan to Georgia, and this will be our regular stop. Thank you.

The owner is a lovely guy, he's very helpful and attentive to his Tenants making sure they have everything they need. He doesn't mind giving a ride if it's needed to those who doesn't have transportation. Overall the best motel owner I've ever met, he was even kind about my flights being delayed due to the weather and offered to let me and my partner stay a couple more days on the house.

This is my second time being at the Tazewell motor lodge, and I have to say each visit has been very good. This place is perfectly located if you wanna grab something quick to eat when you wake up or when you want to grab something quick to eat when you’re coming home late. The owner is super nice. My husband and I were running late to the motel he stayed up a little later to accommodate us and he also out of the kindness of his heart. He upgraded us to a bigger room. He gave us information on some local places to try very accommodating to whatever your needs are when you stop in town. Definitely will stay here again when I am in Tennessee.
