The staff were great. The non lobby, exterior doors which were supposed to be secured, weren’t so anybody could enter without a keycard. The room air unit made a rattling noise each night that made it difficult to sleep through.

Breakfast was pretty good, a little limited. A couple of juices were out. Eggs, sausage or bacon, cereal, waffle maker, some fruit milk and nice coffee maker. Rooms clean, showing a little age, but nice and quiet.

This hotel was very mismanaged. Our flight was delayed , so we did not get to the hotel until 1:30 AM. No hotel staff was there. A note at the desk gave a number to call. When we called it the person said that they had went to the airport and would be back soon. When they got back they could not find our reservation that we had book 2 months earlier, but finally just gave us rooms but told us since they didn’t know we were coming , to let us know if the rooms needed anything and that the manager would be there in the morning. There was no trash cans in the rooms, the TV didn’t work, the body was had fallen off the wall of the shower and was broken on the shower floor. and the blow dryer was broken. The next morning we were told that the manager was in meetings and couldn’t talk to us. Late that afternoon a gentleman at the desk apologized to us. Saying that he didn’t know why we had been told we had no reservation, when he remembers putting it in the system 2 months ago. He then went out of his way to fix the problems in our rooms. The front desk was unmanned most mornings and breakfast items often ran out. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because of the indoor pool . Unfortunately the pool was ice cold and the the hot tub was barely warm. There was also some sticky on the handrail into the pool. They told us it would be fixed but in the three days we were there it wasn’t. Next time we visit Minot we will not be staying here!

The pool was down. Common area bathrooms were gross. Breakfast was not good. The room itself was big and nice but there was water damage on the bathroom ceilings and they were out of shampoo in the pump bottle. The place needs some care.

There is a need for maintenance at this hotel. There were several issues with our room from lights burnt out to plug-ins not working. Elsewhere there were out of order signs. However, having said that, the room was clean, big and the beds comfortable. While I did have to wait at the desk for the attendant to come, she was friendly and helpful.

A Hotel In Decline

Not impressed with this hotel. We checked-in at 8pm and our room was not ready. When check-in starts earlier in the day, we expected that by 8pm our room would be ready to go. The front desk said there were things missing and it would take about 5 minutes to ready the room. 10 minutes later we were finally able to get in. The door was extremely hard to open. I had to put my entire weight into as it had been broken and never fully fixed. The floors/carpet were damp, there was leftover food in our fridge, the shower curtain had brown mildew all over the bottom, there was no shampoo or soap left in the room and you could see through the 2 towels (only 2 in the room for 3 people) that were in the room. Additionally, the pool/hot tub were closed for the entirity of our stay. I would not recommend staying here.
