Good bones, awkward service

I enjoyed my 4-night stay! My favorite things were the rooms— renovated and very nice/updated, comfortable, and clean. The service was awkward at times. My room was cleaned despite the “do not disturb” flag being on the door, my hotels.com reservation included breakfast but the hotel didn’t see that on their end, and my lunch order was forgotten while I waited nearly 45 minutes.

I had a complication when I arrived because I booked through hotels.com, even though I had called this Sheraton to let them know. The front desk manager Orlando was super unfriendly about it and I felt like he was treating me with contempt because I booked through a 3rd party. Super unpleasant. The room was nice and clean though and the beds are comfy.

It was a very nice place to stay. Above average in every way. My only complaint was that there is absolutely nowhere to put anything in the toilet/shower room. Who would hang a towel on the one rod that is about 10" above the flush box? Please add hooks to the back of the door and two rods on the wall behind the door. Every traveler will appreciate them. Thanks!

Why a 1 star? I stayed in two rooms. Hotel asserted I had separate bookings and billed me for booking that they stated was not utilized. As I result I had to pay double for my stay. I would be reticent to book at this hotel due to billing practices.
