Hotel seems like it might have been recently updated as it was in great shape. Room was excellent and the front desk staff were very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, breads/bagels/etc) and there were plenty of tables to sit at.
The only thing I would warn people about is the parking. It's not Hampton parking, but a city lot that is connected via a covered walkway (so very convenient). They charged us an "event parking" rate for Friday night even though it didn't appear there were any events (no concerts we could see, no sporting events) so we had to pay $25 no matter how long we parked. We left the lot Saturday morning and came back and parked Saturday afternoon. No more "event parking" so it cost us $5 to park until Sunday morning
