I booked this hotel because we were in town to attend a basketball game. After we arrived, the event was canceled due to safety concerns (the arena is less than two blocks from the hotel). I checked out early and asked the front desk for a refund or a credit. Instead of understanding the situation, the clerk laughed and said “nothing is going on here” and suggested I “enjoy a night out downtown.” I was traveling with my 9-year-old son, did not feel safe staying, and ended up taking him elsewhere. I did not receive any refund or credit for the unused night. The staff’s dismissive and unprofessional response made a stressful situation worse. I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

The room was very nice, new and clean. The entire hotel was pretty! I love that the Hawthorne Transportation Center is connected via skywalk so you do not have to go outside after you park. It is a very short walk via the skywalk to both that ramp and to the target center! Everytime I go to a Timberwolves game I will stay here!

A great place to stay downtown near the Target Center. Very comfortable, quiet, clean, comfortable bed, great shower, decent coffee and decent breakfast - good options. Nice location near Target Center, great dining options, shopping nearby although I wasn't there for shopping. Parking garage across the street, access via skyway. Inexpensive parking when compared to other big cities. We would definitely stay there again!
