The newly renovated room was nice, our room was exactly above the breakfast room so we heard most of everything in the morning

The receptionist was rude and not pleasant. We were told that hotel policy dictated that we couldn't bring our bicycles into the hotel room. We just drove over six hours to be told that. We were told that we should leave them outside at the bike rack. She said that someone had left a bike there for over a week and nobody had bothered it. Of course nobody bothered it, it wasn't worth stealing. Our bikes cost more than some people's cars. Eventually we were allowed to bring them into our rooms but that receptionist didn't make us feel welcome.
