The showerhead in our room was installed upside down so it shot water out perpendicular. But you could tilt it UPWARDS, just down down. This caused an awkward shower situation and potential flooding. Also the layout of the room was awkward. When we walked into our room we thought it was a broom closet; it opened to a hallway and we couldn't turn on a light to see that the rest of the room was around the corner. Also when we were packing up we found a pair of socks that wasn't ours, so the room was not properly cleaned before our stay.

to start off our first room didn't work, took 2 tries' then they gave us a new room. this room the door was already open because it didn't close all the way. we got in and the room is extremely dark; the lighting was not good. and the smell was horrible. the HVAC was off, so it was extremely musky from the humidity coming off the pool area. you had to run the shower for about 5 min before we got hot water. the toilets are made for grade school kids. the pool area was very dark and most the lights don't work or they constantly flicker, for the price we paid for this room we could have stayed at a way nicer hotel. will not stay again.

Weve stayed here a couple times. We really liked it. The location is great with a couple casinos and valleyfair just a couple minutes away. Also Tina checked us in. She was super nice and professional. She was a rock star!

It was great however, we wanted to add one more day and the 2 beds room were not available. She offered one and sfa bed however those were extremely expensive 520 per night, thats insane.

Our first room smelled of smoke terribly, so we requested a different room. The next room, (and whole building) was so humid that everything was damp: the carpet, the towel, the bedding. There was a large spot of mold above the AC, the sink barely drains, the shower curtain will not close on either end because of the sagging curtain rod, and there is not enough lighting. I definitely would not stay here again.

The building was pretty outdated and unkept. It was not very clean and our room smelled like mildew. The pool area was very outdated and the water was really gross with bits of dirt and debris floating in it. Hot tubs were minimally warm with no adequate covers on the jets so water flew everywhere. The staff at the front desk were nice. Breakfast was not great, eggs tasted bad and sausage was served cold our second morning. The person running breakfast seemed overwhelmed.

The main lobby and pool area was clean and nice, but my room was not clean at all. There was a glob of hair left on the shower wall, empty shampoo/conditioner bottle, no soap for washing your hands, crumbs in the carpeting, and very dim lighting. We had a pool side room on the 2nd floor and it was very moist in our room. There was no outside window so it was very dark. Everything felt slightly damp from the moisture of the pool. Our air conditioner was very loud and clanky, I had to turn it off at night so I could sleep. The pool area was super busy and loud. Thankful the pool did close at 10 pm, so it does quiet down after 10pm. I’m not super picky and did not complain, but just basic cleaning needs were not great. There was no daily cleaning in our room either. I would not stay at this hotel again or recommend it to others.

We booked a room that said sleeps 5. When we checked in and went to room, there were only 2 queens, it only slept 4. Went back into reservation and said sleeps 5. Had to be moved luggage to a family's room as we went down and figured it out. They moved us to another room that could accommodate a roll away bed. Front desk lady was wonderful and got us settled but still frustrated that they have sleep 5 but only sleeps 4. We are lucky another room was available. The floor in our room had not been vacummed, crumbs were all over floor. Staff was wonderful but false advertising for how many rooms slept and floors were dirty in room.

Rooms were not ready at 5pm, check-in was 3pm. We stayed two nights, after the first night our key cards stopped working and needed to be re-swiped by the front desk to get back into our room. Broken glass, overflowing garbages, trash, empty beer cans and liquor bottles all over the parking lot. Staff, pool area and breakfast were great. Still, was disappointed to have booked there and will not stay again.

Very friendly and helpful people who were working at reception. It was very quiet. The room I stayed in was spacious with very good air conditioning. The only downsides for me were the very dated interior and the gym. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.
