Everything closed - not even coffee in the lobby was provided. All torn up, under construction, piled up in the hallways. The room was on the pool side; the pool was closed, and there was a horrible chlorine smell all night long. Paid for 2 nights, stayed 1, and got another hotel. No refund for the second night. I've been a Hilton Honors member for 20 years, and this was the worst.

Wasn't informed major construction in progress, construction in action both Saturday and Sunday during typical working hours, disruptive, noisy, crew members throughout buildings on all levels, in and out of elevators making it difficult to get to and from areas of the hotel. Most of the hotel was blocked off with plastic drapes, dusty ,dirty , no relaxing lounging area, breakfast was backed up in a corner room with minimal space. Was hoping for a nice setting with a relaxing atmosphere and got the opposite. Didnt get half of what i was expecting for the full price. If properly informed of the current situation/conditions undergoing major construction i would have booked through a different hotel , price should have been accommodating accordingly to lack of amenities. I imagine the building will look nice finished?

Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. The front door being blocked during cold was very inconvenient. It was a pain to get our rolling cart full of luggage through double side doors on icy roads, sidewalks and curbs. Price of hotel room does not match inconvenience of front door being blocked. We could have stayed at the other Embassy suites for same price and had all the normal accommodations.

I thought the room was fine until I went to take a shower in the morning where I found standing yellow (what I hope to be) water in the bathtub. If it wasn't yellow water, then it was sewer water. I took a picture, went down to the person at the check in and reported it. There was little to no interest in my report other than saying he would let maintenance know. Although I was not looking for a refund, I was struck there was no offer to change my room or any comp what so ever. I have stayed at MANY Embassy Suites over the years, this was dissapointing
