Yes it's a very nice hotel and you should expect it is nice. This was next level. Starting with the first floor bar that is very perfect for lounging and having a cocktail. The second floor restaurant (and bar) was very intimate, perfect for a romantic dinner. The room was plush and comfortable.The decor was interesting and yes we used the record player. Great location! The staff was excellent. Sometimes in upscale hotels staff can be snooty but the staff we met were both friendly and charming. Quick to offer help or pour a glass of welcoming champagne.

The hotel itself is unique and still the perfect room for comfort and cleanliness. Easy checkin with a glass of champagne. Loved the lobby bar with great bartenders. Great overall hotel close to many arts opportunities, but especially convenient when attending a show at Pabst Theater. Great experience!

An Art Filled Overnight in Milwaukee

My wife and I stayed here for an overnight while in town for a concert. I originally picked the hotel for the location but it was so much nicer than expected. All the unique arts touches made the a stay to remember.
