The Sunny offers 340 air-conditioned accommodations with safes and bathrobes. Each accommodation is individually furnished and decorated. 65-inch LCD televisions come with premium satellite channels and pay movies. Sunny Hotel completely exceeded my expectations! The renovation is beyond gorgeous, modern, tasteful, and filled with the most beautiful sunny energy. It just feels good being there. Every detail is so well done, it’s chic without trying too hard. Already looking forward to my next stay!

A fantastic stay: service, cleanliness, and atmosphere. Room conditions: excellent—I would stay here again. Very good service at the pool. Excellent service at the lobby café. We only missed having more dining options, as the restaurant was under renovation.

Ocean View balcony room was NOT ocean view. We had to change rooms twice. Only Ocean Front you can see the ocean. Pool area was great. And location is central near restaurants nearby.

Room was nice and clean but it was small and no where to store mine and my companions items. The pool and beach were perfect. The food at the restaurant had a very limited food menu which was very disappointing. The location was ok. Ok restaurants and shops but it was a very busy area with lots of traffic and very loud.

This was our first time staying at The Sunny, but are very familiar with the area. My father lives a few blocks away and over the years we have sampled several of the loca properties. The transformation from the Newport to the Sunny is remarkable. The rooms are beautiful. The lobby is incredible. The real key is the pool deck. Most of the competition close by have very small pools, which are largely in the shade of the building. Not here. This is wonderful. The staff is top notch. Very well trained and they really go out of their way to make everything just right. I would say the hotel is 90% done. Still waiting for the restaurant to open. That will also enhance the poolside dining options as well. Go, you won’t regret it.

I could not sleep the whole night because the vanity mirror would not go off talk about not resting all night and having no sleep. I call the front desk they sent the technician and he said he can’t turn it off I went in the morning and let the manager know she smiled and said yes it’s not supposed to turn off worst night would not ever visit this hotel again

The pool itself could have been cleaner but the entirety of the pool area, including the staff, was great. Small but sufficient pool-food menu that could also be ordered in lieu of room service to-go. Cute coffee shop and the whole lobby was very nice and large. Rooms are small, but nice with comfortable beds. Bathroom doors need a way to be propped open!

The property is under immense construction… its visible. Its palpable. Located on the beach is its primary attraction, consumer “first “ is secondary. Staff are wonderful, but overall its a “bumpy” ride.

Unfortunately the hotel staff has not been caught up to speed with the new renovations that have been made. The hotel looks amazing, the cleanliness needs work. The staff is lost, hopefully they improve over time.
