If you’re looking for where locals vacation, this is it. Roughly an hour from the Mérida airport, the hotel nails that laid-back Yucatán vibe. Mornings on the private beach, afternoons by the pool with more drinks and snacks than you can try. It’s the kind of place you go to actually unwind. Highly recommend for anyone craving a slow-paced escape.

I really wanted to like this place but the place is falling apart. Food was terrible, bedsheets had stains, and the towels should be replaced long time ago. Staff was nice and attentive but everything else falls short of a roach motel.

While this is an older resort, the staff was extremely couteous and attentive. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping attended them every day. The front desk staff were very helpful and put us in touch with very competent transportation, as the resort is a bit off the beaten track, which added to its appeal for us. The food was excellent and the wait staff made every meal special. There were plenty of options for us. They made a great vacation that much better.

Friendly staff Maintenance of the pool very bad, the disco/bar very poor maintenance specially bar area, not enough drinks to offer around 11pm; At the room in particular: vent of the ceiling of the closets very dust and dirty, broken cream that wasn’t replace at the bathroom area during the 4 days, 1 toilet paper for the 4 days, did not provide tissues in the 4 days. At the Snack Bar and Bar of the pool, around 5rish beer wasn’t longer available until further noticed for the rest of the afternoon. Snack Bar closed at 6pm after that no more snacks until the restaurant open for dinner time ..!! Resort doesn’t have a small store to buy primary needs as for example sunblock, sandals, swimming wear, headache pills, etc.
