The staff is ultra-professional and friendly, and the hotel is in an amazing location. My partner and I felt very taken care of by the team. The room was super spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Nothing really to complain about. When I called about a plumbing issue in the shower, they fixed it right away. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I thought the breakfast food quality was a little subpar. It's not gross or anything, but was neither truly satisfying. The great thing is that the hotel is so centrally located you can walk to great restaurants nearby. Great hotel for the price.

The room was great and the staff was wonderful. My only suggestion concerns breakfast. Many tours begin at 7:30. It's important that breakfast is ready right at 7 to allow time to get to the tour pick-up stops, particularly in Santa Ana Park, which is a 15-minute walk. Thanks.

Excelente experiencia en el Gran Hotel Panamericana. Desde que llegamos todo fue perfecto. El hotel es muy limpio, las habitaciones cómodas y bien cuidadas, con aire acondicionado funcionando excelente. El desayuno estuvo delicioso, con buena variedad y todo fresco. Quiero destacar especialmente la amabilidad del personal, siempre atentos, respetuosos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. La ubicación también es muy buena para moverse por Mérida. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo al 100%.

The cleaning service is great, keep the room and bathroom spotless. Breakfast has a good variety and tasty. Hotel is under construction in the entrance door, it doesn't bothers me, staff are very helpful. Hotel has a good location close to the center of the City.

Comfortable, clean, quiet. Beautiful hotel. It's within walking distance to restaurants and the Cathedral area. Harder for us elders who are more sensitive to heat and rough sidewalks. Guillermo, the front desk person who spoke English was very attentive. We are so grateful for his help navigating our first trip to Merida. All staff was friendly and accommodating. The only negatives are the pool. It is in the shade ALL the time. I was hoping to lie in the sun and jump in the pool a bit. There's also no restaurant and bar as advertised on line. You can order bar snacks in the evening through a kitchen staffer. We were hoping to be able to socialize with others a bit, and not always have to walk somewhere for a restaurant.

Staff is very nice and helpful. In the room that was given TV, fridge and telephone didn’t work. Another room was given per my request. But we didn’t enjoy to move all our belongings after we were already installed. The second room was a bit smaller than the first one. Don’t know the reason. The website shows one double room size only.

Great hotel close to everything and so charming. Comfortable beds. The upgrade to a suite is worth the money. Guierrmo at the front desk is amazing and so helpful. We would stay here again.
