Absolutely loved Casa Amate 62! Gorgeous rooms, spotless and comfy. Even with the AC turned off, the rooms stayed refreshingly cool, making it the perfect haven from Mérida’s heat. The hotel has a charming mix of modern style and Yucatán character.

Fantastic staff! From front desk to bar to cleaning personnel, you couldn’t ask for better people! We enjoyed the tranquil surroundings, a convenient store next door for snacks/waters/etc, and a laundry service just around the corner. Only a short walk to the Plaza Grande, Santa Lucia park, Parque Hildago, parque de la Plancha, and Paseo de Montejo.

It was a beautiful place. As soon as you entered everything was so decorated with a purpose. The lap pool was beautifully placed. The staff was always available and sweet. Location, location, location. You were close to everything. In the corner a bar with a great salsa music.

It is 15 minute walk to plaza grande(nice park , museums, shops and restaurants along the way) and a 8 minute walk to the beginning of Paseo de Montejo( a lot of good restaurants) and a 20 minute walk to La Plancha park (beautifulpark). Our stay was great. Our room was cleaned everyday and the staff was very courteous. The only thing to be aware is that the rooms only have a full size bed, not a king like it said on the reservation, no tv, and only bedsheets. I had to ask for a blanket.

La habitación estaba impecable, solo tardaba en salir agua caliente pero fuera de eso estaba todo súper bien en la habitación. La ubicación del lugar está ideal, si necesitan estacionamiento también tiene alianza con uno cercano, preguntar desde antes la disponibilidad. El trato y atención de recepción también excelente, siempre hubo buena comunicación. ¡RECOMENDADÍSIMO la estancia en Casa Amate 62!

El aire acondicionado enfriaba levemente, no estuvo tan mal ya que no visitamos en temporada de mucho calor pero creo que deberían mejorar Al igual en la habitación donde nos hospedamos era incómodo que las ventanas no tuvieran recubrimiento ya que podía verse bien hacia adentro y hacia afuera del lado de la cama y del jacuzzi (áreas muy íntimas) al menos la que estaba del lado de la regadera si tuvo recubrimiento. Personal amable, áreas limpias y bonitas.
