There is probably not enough space to tell you everything but first off I will say this: it should not be open. It is an old hotel that was abandoned and still has graffiti on the walls, trash in the corners of the hallway and no elevator that works. We stayed on the fourth floor and tried to walk down the stairs at the end of the hall and the fire door was locked. The reception desk is behind bulletproof glass.
It has potential but their attempt to bring in money while renovating is a major mistake.
I will give credit to the young man who attempted to find us a room on the lower floor, but none of them were habitable. The tub in the first room he showed his had boot prints and it where the workers had been repairing the tub. And, the blackout curtain on the room would not close all the way because hooks were missing on the end.
Another obvious marketing ploy was the pictures on your website. They are nothing like the hotel. They may be the eventual plans for the hotel, but they are not indicative of the property.
I really felt uncomfortable in the hotel. There were signs all around it saying visitors are not allowed.
In my opinion, this is a black eye on Hotels.com for allowing this hotel to be on their website.
