If you secure a room on the second floor, prepare for a workout. The building designers apparently viewed stairs as a mandatory fitness program rather than a structural choice. You should pack light or hire a local Sherpa to assist with your luggage. Aesthetic and Atmosphere The housekeeping team performs miracles daily. They keep the rooms as clean as one can expect for a building that likely saw the dawn of the industrial age. The air carries a hint of "vintage charm," which is a polite way to describe a structure that predates modern plumbing. However, the surfaces shine, and the sheets feel crisp. The Pedestrian Paradise The location serves as the true crown jewel of this establishment. You can park your car and forget it exists. If you enjoy a brisk walk to a fine dining table, this spot is perfect. It allows you to burn off the calories of a steak dinner before you even take the first bite. Just remember that every delicious meal concludes with a triumphant climb back up to your room for those with heavy luggage.
