Overall Impression The resort is clean, quiet, and relaxing, with a great beachfront location. However, it does not deliver the level of service expected for its price range, and the website significantly exaggerates the amenities. Rely on recent guest reviews rather than marketing materials. Food & Dining: Good quality but very limited options compared to other Mexican resorts. No printed menus; you must use your device. Every transaction requires signing in/out with a fob—feels intrusive despite polite staff. Only one venue open at a time: buffet (morning), pool bar (afternoon), à la carte (evening). Buffet was repetitive all week. Italian restaurant’s Christmas dinner was poor quality; no vegetarian options. Downtown restaurant had an undisclosed 350-peso cover charge. Advertised sushi bar didn’t exist; snack bar only open for lunch. Amenities & Facilities No swim-up bar; the only bar closes at 10 PM, after which no drinks are available. No free airport shuttle. Coffee machine in the room, but no cleaning or coffee provided—bring your own or pay extra for prepared coffee. No complimentary water bottles in the room; you must scan and collect them from the bar or pay for room service delivery. Bottom Line While the setting is beautiful and relaxing, the resort falls short on transparency and amenities. Expect limited dining options, extra charges for basics, and a lack of advertised features.

Wonderful location in Mazatlan with beach access, nice pools, and excellent views. Cilantro and the sushi restaurant served up consistently wonderful food. This was our second Thanksgiving in a row and I look forward to coming back!

We just returned from a fantastic 5 night family vacation at the beautiful Pueblo Bonito a beach front all-inclusive resort in Mazatlan! Everything was fantastic including ALL the staff, all the servers and everyone at the front desk. Our room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and high-quality amenities, making for an excellent night's sleep. The beach is excellent. We ate at the onsite Angelo's Restaurant 3 times because the food and service are phenomenal!

Clean, very friendly people. Love that they now have a coffee shop! Not the most “new” but definitely beautiful in its own way. PB Maxatlan has an amazing beach, that was my family’s main attraction.

Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan was a gorgeous resort - the staff went above and beyond, the view from our room was unbelievable. The beach was stunning and the pools were well maintained. The food was overrall very good, Angelos was excellent, the buffet had a good variety, Cilantros for dinner was great - their breakfast hit and miss. I wish our room had a little fridge and a proper coffee maker - that was our only real complaint. Overall a really nice experience - I would not hesitate to come back.
