Guests will have exclusive and private access to the entire cottage, deck, and hot tub. Enjoy and make the space your own during your stay. Self-check-in is available 24/7 via a secure lockbox located near the main entrance for your convenience.

ADDITIONAL RULES
• Rental Agreement: Must be signed within 72 hours of making the reservation or the booking may be subject to cancellation.
• Check-in/Out: Check-in is from 4 PM to 11 PM; check-out is before 10 AM to allow us to prepare for the next guests.
• Pet Policy: 1 dog welcome (fee applies). No cats or puppies under 12 months.
• Quiet Hours: 11 PM – 7 AM to ensure a serene guest experience.
• No-Smoking: Strict no-smoking policy (includes vaping/e-cigarettes) inside the cottage.
• Safety & Care: No climbing, pushing, or hanging from structures or cliff edges.
• Hot Tub: Must remain covered when not in use. Please place covers on and secure latches after every use.
• Seasonal Amenities: Beach stairs, outdoor shower, and gas BBQ are unavailable Oct 15 – May 15.

We recently stayed at this beautiful property and were truly impressed by the stunning grounds and cozy buildings. The location is absolutely perfect, offering breathtaking views of the coast and a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation.However, we did notice that the cottages could benefit from a bit more privacy. During our brief stay, the owners and their children frequently passed right in front of our cabin to access another unit while cleaning the hot tub, with one child even crossing our deck. This made it a little challenging to fully unwind and enjoy the peaceful setting.A simple privacy wall or screen would make a big difference and help guests feel more secluded while still enjoying everything this lovely property has to offer, especially when sitting in the soaking tubs. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return, especially if a bit more privacy can be added to the cottage experience.

Stay here! Stunning property.

We stayed here two short nights and we’re already planning a trip back in the fall to see the colours on Cape Breton. The owner met us as we arrived and we proceeded to get a brief tour of the property. They have thought of everything! Comfortable, functional yet stylish - the design aesthetics are beautiful and clearly considered throughout. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Beautiful sunsets. Special shoutout to Alexis who was so helpful (and hardworking)!

Fabulous stay!

My husband and I absolutely loved our three night stay at this property. The view is to die for, the grounds are perfectly maintained, and the modern accommodations are very well appointed. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful. He had great suggestions for things to see and do. Private beach for swimming and a really nice outdoor grilling station. If we come back to Cape Breton, this is where we will stay!

Exactly what we needed

Our stay was wonderful. The place was very clean, the grounds were well kept and the path to the beach was well lit for an evening stroll. The view from the hot tub is absolutely dazzling at sunset. Would love to have had more time there, would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Ridge on the Chimney

The Ridge on the Chimney was a beautiful, peaceful place to spend our week in Cape Breton. Marco, Scott, May and Karen have created an amazing retreat overlooking the Bay of St. Lawrence. The setting, accommodations, along with all of the tasteful amenities provided were more than we had hoped for! We will be back💙
