Very spacious and clean room, modern bathroom. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Just wish we had been told that the restaurant was closed for the season - we had no idea and went to the (empty) front desk at 7:50 am and again at 8:25 am for breakfast before giving up. Delayed the start of our day (guess we should have done more research on the off season before travelling - wasn’t expecting it to be as difficult as it was to find someplace that was open to grab a bite to eat). Would stay here again (not off season lol)

This property had very clean rooms. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Although we paid for breakfast it was delicious. The outside looked like they were working on the property. I would go back.

Staff were very friendly & accommodating. The beds were the best we’ve slept in during our two weeks of travelling. Everything is very clean. Although this motel does not offer a free breakfast, they have a very reasonably priced on-site restaurant. The food was excellent (especially the coffee) and the view spectacular.

Duck Cove Inn is a charming, family-run inn nestled along the world-famous Cabot Trail. With panoramic views of the Margaree River and Valley, it’s affectionately known as “The Inn with the View”. and for good reason. We enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty that surrounds the property. It is a perfect base for exploring Cape Breton Island.

Nice little place right off the highway with a lovely view of a small bay. Comfy bed and seemed newly remodeled. Vanessa who checked us in was delightful and helpful in directing us to the tiny local Laundry. All Round good stay.
