Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Beautiful location

Very welcoming check in. Spacious room with great view of the mountains. Clean bathroom with lovely toiletries. The "grab & go" breakfast was a welcomed bonus. The only negative was the stairs!

I had high hopes for this location. The facility is average at best. The path into the room was stained noticably dirty. I came around 2 pm because the website said we could check in early and was met by a very rude lady ask what we needed and informed me check in wasn't till 4 pm. I explained my understanding and she said based on availability and there is none. Fortunately she was gone when we checked in. The gentleman was very nice and a complete difference from the former person. The breakfast was fruit, yogurt, and bread. Definitely nothing fancy.

An old good legacy with recent disappointment.

We have long history of visiting this hotel since decade ago. We love the european chalet style building. But the more recent visit make it less to be desired. Even though got renovation inside. Carpet took out replace with hardwood floor. But the floor is sticky, dark ugly color, and didn't bother to sound proof it, leaving huge gap at front door bottom, with old/crammed rooms design, noise travels really bad. Had to put a lot towel underneath the door to block the sound out of gap. Bathroom entry way still super narrow. Not much decoration at interior, it will nice to put some european stuff on it. A/C heater unit didn't change, was very loud, hard to control the wind speed and awkwardly located. Lastly, the breakfast is not as good as before (but may be with overall trend of all USA hotels). Big nice real european like breakfast exist 10 yrs is no more even after covid left. Now just a goodie bag left for you to pick up at hallway 8am. I had to leave early, they don't even provide earlier pick up unlike the hotels in Europe. I seldom revisit a hotel many times, but I have been a faithful visitor in this hotel for years. I think after this time, I will look elsewhere. It's still a good hotel, just not as good as before.

Nice but not great

Nice and quaint No elevator so not convenient with luggage They have walkin showers only! Breakfast only "grab and go"...only muffins, yoghurt and a few fruit, so don't expect actual breakfast!!!!! Room cleaning doesn't always happen when asked for Parking tight and limited Nice but expected more based on website and listed amenities
