Great hotel, at a great location. Access is easy and convenient. Lots of people coming in and going out. A bit overpriced in my opinion. It is up to date, but could definitely use an upgrade or two in order to justify the price. The restaurant is pretty decent, and tends to get busy. Had it not been for the fat rate, I'd have gone for 5-stars.

Initial disappointment for not getting the requested room type (despite pleas in advance via the website customer service and through expedia). Room was changed on second night. Some oversights in the housekeeping (used glasses not removed/replaced, mini bar not re-stocked). Some front of house staff, particularly the males, unfriendly and welcoming demeanor. Great location and overall a nice hotel if the price is right.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Madrid. As it's positioned just off the main road it is surprisingly quiet. Had a wonderful night's sleep. The only downside is there door to our room was right opposite our bed and wasn't soundproof so you could hear the other doors in the corridor banging in the morning. How ever large room was massive walk-in shower. Large bed, but it was two single beds pushed together yet they beds have separate bedding so not made up as a double bed which was requested. Still made up as two single beds which wasn't ideal. Reception team were very helpful and friendly. There is a rooftop terrace bar but not the best. Little but tired looking and not really comfortable or romantic. The only let down to the hotel but there are several rooftop bars within walking distance that have better settings so went there instead. Due to the proximity and the friendly team we would stay here again. I would just ask for a different style of room that doesn't have the door right opposite the bed.

The location of this hotel was ideal! It's very clean and quiet. The area is great for walking, people watching, shopping, and getting public transportation. The staff is kind and friendly. Hola Jose from the bar! Very friendly staff.
