Polite and friendly staff. The room was very clean. Hotel is next to a metro stop so easy access to anywhere in the city. Only minor issues was the walls seemed paper thin. If you had noisy guests and are a light sleeper you might struggle. Also even with the window closed the outside noise was loud. Basic breakfast but enough choice and good coffee. The breakfast area did feel a little cramped. I have stayed in a budget ibis before so no what to expect. No complaints for the money payed to stay in central Madrid.

The rooms were very cramped. The shower was literally next to the bed which was extremely gross. No locks on toilet door. No place to keep luggage. There was a bunk bed with a terrible design. It was more of a hazard where one could keep banging their head while moving around the lower bed.
