A great value and a nice and clean room. This is a "no-frills" hotel, so don't expect too much, but the location is great and is very close to Madison's main attractions such as the University of Wisconsin. Save hundreds and AVOID the downtown Madison hotels!

This is a unique fabulous property in Del Mar. the location is perfect - perched above the Pacific. The abundant windows and sliding glass doors provide a delightful open light airy feel that captures the coastal vibe perfectly. A unique “Old California” that will not disappoint. I highly recommend this cottage and will definitely come back.

Room is dated but clean. Lock on end of building was missing on the door so anyone could come into the building. Lots of cigarette butts on the ground near door at end of building, no receptacle in sight for butts or trash that was just thrown on the ground. Hot but water was clear but lots of sand or dirt in one corner of the hot tub. Breakfast was adequate. Stayed here because of the low price and near vet hospital while my dog had a major surgery.

The stay was okay, for a low end quality hotel... the biggest issue was cleanliness all around the hotel, from hair left all over the room to a tampon we found next to the hot tub... When we first entered the room, the fire alarm was chirping, the bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood for how stiff it was and the hotel staff wouldn't let us have more than 2 towels at a time for 3 occupants in the room. Also, the temp in the pool and "hot" tub need to be monitored- they were FREEZING. Pretty poor stay. The waffle in the morning was the saving grace.
