Nice, contemporary and clean hotel, but we were amazed that breakfast was not included in the price. $14.95 each for the breakfast buffet! After staying at Drury Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses, with a great breakfast included, this policy of the Hilton Garden Inn is a nonstarter for the future. And, I checked … the Expedia listing said breakfast included.

The Expedia description of this hotel says that there is a breakfast included. There is not a complementary breakfast. Honestly, I think this is the only Hilton Garden Inn I’ve ever stayed in that does not have a complementary breakfast. Went to the lobby this morning around 5:30 and the coffee station had no coffee.

The only thing bad was. The fan on AC only worked on low. The freezer on the refrigerator was caked with frost. Other than that it was a very nice place. We didn’t eat breakfast because it cost much extra.

Enjoyed: Excellent breakfast. Warm and welcoming bar, housekeeping, and desk staff - tip them well! Very accommodating management. The well-appointed gym with working equipment, nice amenities, and ample space. Improvements needed: More sound-proofing between floors and replace annoying smoke detectors. Recommend guests reserve a room on 4th floor to avoid lack of sound proofing between floors. Also, wear an eye-guard to avoid the unpleasant experience of being wakened by the bright, flashing smoke detector light visible in a darkened room.
