Only one very young employee that greeted us at the front desk when we arrived late in the evening was disappointing. After that, it was like the old days. Lots of pride and professionalism that I just don’t see very often nowadays, no matter how much I pay. I believe the general manager spoke to me one morning and inquired not only about my breakfast, but about my overall experience. I know that this is the Midwest and these people are famous for their manners, but I’ve stayed down the road before and it wasn’t like this. The breakfast is as advertised. If you stay in Madison, I doubt very much that you would be disappointed staying here. I know I will be back the next time I am in town. I rarely give such high praise, but this place deserves it.

Will was fantastic at check it. Room is nice and clean. Great water pressure. Bartender was great. Easy parking. Plenty of restaurants close. Breakfast was great. Only issue is the hotel was at 30% capacity and we asked for a quiet area on the highest floor and we were put close to the elevator with a person above us and next to us and it was louder than we wanted.

When I checked in, I didn’t receive the level of customer service I’m used to at Embassy Suites. At checkout, the staff member didn’t offer me a receipt and just referenced Hotels.com. For comparison, I stayed at Embassy Suites Downtown Sacramento a couple of months ago, and the service was excellent—plus the room layout and size were outstanding.
