Hotel was fine but we were overcharged and the front desk was very rude about it. Now they are telling hotels.com it is taxes. The receipt is very clear it is not taxes.

We came for a Badger game. Unexpectedly the hotel had a shuttle, which was great. Parking was fine. The breakfast was just OK. The room wasn't dirty per se, but there were a fair number of hairs in the bathroom. They probably told us at some point there wouldn't be service while we were out (2 day stay), but it was still an ugh moment when we opened the door. The biggest thing was the hotel just seemed beat run down. The bottom of the bathroom door was badly chipped, the toilet paper holder was broken, the sink aerator didn’t work and the water blasted out. The elevator walls were dented and scraped, and there were stains in the hallway carpet. It wasn't horrible, but I ended regretting having prepaid, and wishing I could move somewhere else the second night.

It was sufficient for a visit to Madison. The room has seen better days, but the staff were trying their best. The breakfast was better than expected with a working waffle maker and even eggs and sausage.

Room was a great value overall. TV was slow with many channels that didn't come in at all. Cleaning staff started cleaning quite early and was fairly noisy in the hallway. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.

Check in was fast and friendly however we weren’t able to relax and watch football, no service. It was hot and stuffy in our room, air conditioning seems outdated. Sofa sleeper looked old and dated. Not comfortable.

The showers left a lot to be desired. It was a hand held on a slider rod. The force of the water was to much and could not be reduced. If you left the hand held on the rod the water hit you full force in the face or the gut. Because of the force of the water using the hand held sprayed water all over the bathroom.
