The heat/ac units need filters clean. Thos is a high humidity area and they smell like mildew. The carpets need deep cleaning or replacement. Building smells like left odors. Bed was the worst ever slept in - felt like plywood. I usually post only positive reviews but these items need to be addressed.

I gave 4 instead of 5 stars as our room was missing half the drape, so outside lights shined in all night. Staff was friendly enough but did not go out of their way to smile when they talked to guests - this is from multiple staff that we encountered. Hotel was clean, and had been remodeled, but shabbiness was just under the surface - didn't patch wall holes before painting, bathroom doorknob was loose, exposed screw in wall, lots of scratches/cracks in the doors/walls under the paint. However, it was immaculately clean and the tile was new, carpet still had "new" carpet smell, bedding was good and comfortable, even if the beds were small.

I do not recommend this hotel. It was almost $200/night and the hotel was worth about $70/night. I had higher expectations for a Comfort Inn. The hotel had a weird smell, felt dirty, housekeeping only upon request, towels were old, phone didn’t work, air conditioning was mediocre. Very disappointed!

The mattress and sheets had blood stains on them. We asked the front desk to change our room and they were unable to accommodate them. We left the hotel. We will be asking for a refund because that is totally unacceptable.
