NO coffee pot!

No coffee pot! What!? I would of brought mine had i known. Had to go to next town over and buy one. Or pay $5 per cup, a day in town. Cheaper to buy the maker. Otherwise, very nice place to stay.

Motel/ Hotel/ inn of horrors a nightmare

Place was not a pleasant stay. Basically held you to your room w/o reinbursement. Photos of room was not what the regular rooms look like. Cleaniness first room smelled like wet mildew old outhouse and not cleaned well no door on bathroom, bla k mold spots everwhere, second room no better carpet dirty spider webs and bugs althrough room and window ledges. Couldnt get my money back. I do not recommend anyone stay here better off sleeping outside.

The room definitely wasn't what we expected horrible stay the lights didn't work si the ran an extension cord in our room pool was closed and microwave didn't open unless you unplugged it and plugged it back in dont recommend staying here very disappointed

It is a good area to be close to the ferry but has a lot of problems to these. Our room had hair chunks in corner of walls, but ur doorlock was duck tapped instead of a lock, and it did not smell great. It is not the pictures on as seen on here.

My family came in for one night and just needed a place to sleep, nothing fancy. The price for this place was better than nearly all other hotels and was reasonable given it was a holiday weekend. However, the 'indoor' pool was in a building with the windows open (so not so much 'indoor') and the water was green. Certainly not inviting, so we obviously didn't swim. It is located just south of town so out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy what Mackinaw City has to offer. It is also right on the beach so that was nice and convenient. We essentially needed a bed and a shower and that's what we got. Nothing fancy.

Nice room on beach. Pool and hot tub were green and unusable. Beds were like sleeping on a box spring. Room was nice loved location. I wish our first floor balcony would have given access to beach. Better beds and I would give the place 3.5 to 4 rating.

The hotel was not even staffed for check in. Sign posted on the lobby door stated to go to neighboring hotel to check in. This hotel’s staff was friendly, however, all she could do was give us our room key. The room and hotel was so dilapidated it appeared unsafe to stay. The room also had a strange odor. We actually found a different hotel to stay at and returned the room key. The neighboring hotel staff stated she didn’t blame us. Unbelievable!!

Place is terrible felt like i would need disinfected if we stayed there. So we went and found something else. Would like to see a full refund. Pics were completely mis leading. Did not even have anyone in office to check us in. Had to go to a different property to check in. The poor gal who checked us in. I felt bad for her cause she couldnt do anything for us.

Pictures advertised aren't what they are.

The pictures that are on the site for booking are nothing like it in real life. The staff was nice. But the rooms were filthy. Cobwebs every where, the door had choclate or something all over it, fridge smelled like rotten eggs. The floor was so bad. And no where to plug anything in unless you unplug a lamp, and plugs aren't near bed. and lamps don't work. The pool was green water. Good thing their was lake access. I wish i took more pictures. Glad we were at the room just to sleep.

With the pictures posted on the website you feel like you’re getting one of the cabins that’s waterfront. That was my fault for not reading between the lines. It’s like a bait and switch on the room. The room was clean but the decor is outdated and the furnishings in the room need to be steam cleaned. I would say the furnishings were dirty. The AC was cold. Another thing I found unsettling was that you don’t have a way to lock the door inside the room. The deadbolt in my room did not work.

The room was very musty and mold smelling. There was a hole in the wall next to the AC, a hole big enough under the door for a mouse to crawl through. The pillows were stained yellow. I could see the bed bugs crawling around. We walked in and walked out of the room. The ladies at the front desk very un helpful and rude. 10/10 would NOT recommend

Booked through Expedia and like many other reviewers, we were completely bait and switched. The listing showed a cute, relaxing beach front cabin, but what we got was a dirty, run down motel. Our room had bugs, dirty sheets, and even a blood stain on one of the beds. To make matters worse, when we woke up there was a handprint on the outside of our window where someone had clearly tried to slide it open during the night. Most of the windows on the property were already broken, which makes it obvious there is a serious safety and peeping tom issue here. Yes, you get what you pay for, but the listing should accurately reflect what this motel actually is. Do not be fooled by the pictures. This is not a cozy cabin experience. It is a filthy and unsafe motel.
This hand print appeared in the morning after someone tried sliding open our window. Which only has a storm window in so I’m surprised they weren’t successful.
