The view was remarkable! Breakfast was great. The only negative comment would be that the place needs a little tlc. Our balcony screen door had a broken screen. Our lamps were missing lightbulbs and the outlets don't hold a plug (in some).

Promising but outdated. The room was small and crowded. It seemed very dusty and dirty. It looked like it was decorated in the 90s. The bed was uncomfortable, though the pillows were nice and soft. The tub was relaxing. The bathroom floor was gross. The patio door was loud and hard to open, as it stuck a lot.

Our room was on the 3rd floor. The gentleman told us that we could use the elevator. No stairs. Elevator only went to 2nd floor, then there were stairs we had to climb to get to 3rd floor. I was assured twice that there were no stairs. The stairs made it extremely difficult to climb with having a total knee replacement.

We stayed at this motel so we could visit Mackinac Island. We loved the island and would love to come back, but we will not be staying again at this motel! It really needs a thorough cleaning. Definitely needs to be updated. The arms of the wooden chair would easily come out. The tray holding the coffee maker wasn’t clean. There was no alarm clock. Very basic, even though the pictures look nice. Musty smell in our room. No A/C in the breakfast room area and they had windows open. Looked like the ceiling had leaked in the past, it was stained. My husband wanted to just get a different motel, but I was afraid we wouldn’t get all our refund. We stuck it out and enjoyed our vacation in spite of it. A cheap place to stay!
