This hotel was as good or better than others of this type. 24 hour front desk, breakfast in the lobby, large comfortable and clean room with quiet AC unit. It is an easy walk to the ferry. As a bonus, the pool looked very nice.

It was nice and we really could have walked to Shepler’s Ferry (11 minutes) to Mackinac Island instead of using the van. It was conveniently located to Joann’s Fudge (best in town), restaurants and sights.

I was disappointed at first that we didn't have a view of the Lake. However, throughout the week, we realized that we were in a perfect location - we were able to walk everywhere - to shops, restaurants, entertainment, and even to the ferry port. I would stay again.
