Good location, they put a lot of money into this old house to provide most amenities of a modern hotel. Some slight noises here and there and might be too crowded in July/August. Now (October) uncrowded. But of course that’s true of the island in general.
We enjoyed our stay at Inn on Mackinac! Beautiful property, pleasant, helpful staff, good continental breakfast , beautiful porch with ample space to sit and watch the horse carriages pass by. The Inn was close to the Main Street, so very walkable! And our room was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add a small refrigerator in the room.
Hot tub warm could be alittle warmer
Breakfast was wonderful, staff all nice except tall lady dark hair alittle heavy set.. when I checked out came across RUDE … when I asked about luggage transfer to ferry… never even said ty for staying with us- unprofessional!!!
Our check in with Emma was amazing !!!! She was friendly & explained everything since it was our first stay there…
The morning desk staff was not as friendly & a little condescending when asking questions, I understand working with the public in a tourist destination can be frustrating but the rudeness was not needed…
This is a good solid option for a stay on the island. Rooms are very large, clean, and decorated in a quaint Mackinac Island way. Breakfast is adequate to start you out on a busy exploring day.
This Inn is precious! Rooms were charming, comfortable and clean. Hot tub was an added bonus. We usually stay at the Grand hotel. First time staying here and definitely stay here again!
I loved the hot tub and the front porch. For Mackinac Island it is really convenient where it is located. Also I really appreciate it the continental breakfast. Everyone knows that everything you buy at Mackinac Island across the fortune so it's nice to get a good head start with some yogurt and bagels and cereal or whatever you'd like. That isn't something that a lot of hotels
Mackinac Island offer offer.
It was lightly raining (on and off) on the day we arrived. After riding our bikes and going into town for lunch, we came back to the Inn to soak in the hot tub. It was WONDERFUL!!
A beautiful, historic spot to stay when you are on Mackinaw Island. Convenient to the downtown area. Right on the Main Street overlooking the lake. Clean, fresh comfortable rooms. I would come back here without hesitation.
Staff were friendly and very helpful. They answered our many questions, sold us the cheapest fudge on the island that was made in house, and had a lovely continental breakfast with lots of variety.
We had a nice stay other than noise from the hallway. It was very loud at times with children running down the hallway screaming. Our room was very quaint.
