Lovely New Forest pub. Very friendly atmosphere. Large clean room, comfy bed, modern bathroom. Very quiet at night. Big breakfast, varied evening meals and excellent beer. New Forest ponies on the green and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's grave two minutes up the road! Excellent value. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks.

Excellent stay great value for money.

Really comfortable rooms especially the bed. I travel a lot for work and this is one of the most comfortable beds I have found in a hotel. Nice location in the New Forest. Food was great although I did not get to try the breakfast as it did not start until 8.30 which is a bit too late for a business traveller.

Lovely place to stay. Very clean room with plenty of space and comfy bed. The food in the pub was great quality and the staff were welcoming and accomodating to our four legged friend. Cosy pub with open fire.

Lovely Picturesque pub.

Lovely picturesque pub with 5 upstairs rooms, with ours having a nice view over the rear garden. Bedroom was very clean and well maintained and bed was very comfortable. Pub and food were good especially the cooked breakfast and the Sunday roast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location for exploring the New Forest. Would stay here again

Lovely position overlooking the small green, with horses and foals, stocks and central tree. Our room was over the bar and we could hear conversation until about 10.30. Breakfast was not available until 8.30 which delayed us but cooked meal was good. Clean and comfrtabke room.
