Checkin took longer than necessary. I wanted to pay in cash for the one night stay. They automatically charged to my credit card without asking. Then they needed my id to pay in cash. Not sure why but that took some extra time. I did not have breakfast at hotel.

I stayed a couple of nights before a cruise. The staff was friendly and helpful- the room was clean - the bedding very good quality and very comfy bed. In fact I liked almost everything except for the fact that there was no way of contacting front desk staff other than to go out and do so physically (no phone). Because of this I may not book this hotel again as being older I feel better about having this available in case of an urgent situation. Restaurant - pricing is good; breakfast selection is excellent and good quality. The evening option is well priced but was disappointed in the fish & chips that wasn't as good as my last visit to England. Service was very good with some staffing but lacking with others - so a mix depending on who was on that shift. Location - was good for what I needed on this trip

This hotel is AMAZING From greeting with the front desk staff to our checkout was top notch Sue is an Exceptional Ambassador for her workplace and town. We stayed for one night prior to a cruise from the port. It was perfect. We did not eat breakfast but did have a late dinner and it as very very good. A wonderful value.

Staff not really friendly on arrival but came across other staff who were. Only one towel in room booked for 2? Other guests said they had to ask too. Not sure air conditioner worked as it should. Seemed to turn off frequently and not at set temperature. Great location for visiting. Glad there was a bar and restaurant. Overall very happy with stay.
