The staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean. It would be five stars, except for the fact they had water issues. The tapwater came out brown and had to be run for a long time before it became clear. Also, the shower was only lukewarm and never quite got hot enough. If they can fix their water issues, it would be a five star hotel. Also we really appreciated the free parking!

Overall, our stays was great! The location of the hotel is convenient enough for me and my wife to travel around town and quick access to the 210 Freeway. But, do note the hotel and rooms are aged and lots of the interior are not as new as it appears. The love couch has weird stains on it and headboard are dirty as well. But I would still recommend Hilton Monrovia to you all.

I made a reservation on 11/14/2025-11/16/2025 but updated 11/15-11/17 and paid some penalty for update, but when I arrived in Doubletree Hilton in Monrovia, Expedia didn’t send any notices to this Hotel, so I paid directly $395,08 again and at the same time I called Expedia to requesting refund which Hilton front desk asked me to cancel it, and Expedia agreed, but Expedia refunded only $120 instead of $450, Why Expedia didn’t refund my money to long time customer? I’m so disappointed, Expedia never responded like this way in last 20 yrs. What happened? Please refund my money about $330 as soon as possible. Room was great, nice and clean. however we put on their Hilton app a room with a pool view but instead we got a view of a commercial building. Will be coming here again though such a convenient location next to a lot of good restaurants, and a mall.
