These budget "pod" type hotels should not exist. The room (Cocoon 2), which was just slightly larger than the bed that was in it, was extremely hard to live in. My stay was one week, but I don't think the experience would be any better for one or two nights. It's like a cage in a zoo. I get that this works for some people, but the size and lack of windows does take a toll. Having multiple staff just standing by the check in section exposes that this property is only interested in turning over the rooms as quickly as possible. Had to pay a large sum to get early check-in. I'm glad that was an option, but the price for getting in two or three hours early was absurd. If there is no other option, I may force a return to this property because the location is quite unbeatable... but it does take a toll. You're going to want to spend as little time in your room as possible.

I was blown away by this hotel. The location is incredible, and the room was very clean and chic. I was staying by myself and I can see that the room might have been a bit of a squeeze with two people, but it was great for just me.

Accessible to Shopping & Dining, but not much service to provide, no table or even a glass to provide. I brought my own towel, however it was taken by the housekeeper. Follow up with the Manager, no conclusion or compensation, only explained the housekeeper is new and made mistake. No resolution!

The hotel is conveniently located and very close to tube stops. However, I would not recommend staying here for more than a maximum of two nights. Rooms are small and stuffy. No windows. Kinds of dystopian.

Luggage rip off

I was shocked to say that they charged me £15 to sore my luggage. In the 40 years of travel I have never been charged for storage by any hotel in any part of the world. They also wanted to try and charge me £40 for an early check in @ 2pm, although the regular chicken was at 3pm. Money grab all the time, I will not be going back to them only if I am desperate

Perfect for solo travelers or couples. The rooms are simple and very minimalistic. A very clean and simple look/feel to each of the rooms. There are no windows so if you require sunlight in your room, then this is not the place. It is in central London within 3 minute walk from Picadilly tube station. This is a perfect place for those that just need a place to rest after walking around London all day. Check in is very easy and done via their tablets with multiple associates nearby to assist if needed. Gym is available at 10 pounds/day. A very nice cafe on the bottom floor offers ample space to rest or do work in a quieter environment.
