These budget "pod" type hotels should not exist. The room (Cocoon 2), which was just slightly larger than the bed that was in it, was extremely hard to live in. My stay was one week, but I don't think the experience would be any better for one or two nights. It's like a cage in a zoo. I get that this works for some people, but the size and lack of windows does take a toll. Having multiple staff just standing by the check in section exposes that this property is only interested in turning over the rooms as quickly as possible. Had to pay a large sum to get early check-in. I'm glad that was an option, but the price for getting in two or three hours early was absurd. If there is no other option, I may force a return to this property because the location is quite unbeatable... but it does take a toll. You're going to want to spend as little time in your room as possible.

Nice place to sleep. Very dark, comfotable. Very simple design with no frills. Toilet is not very private... frosted glass walls. Shower needed a bench to place clean clothes. The matress protector under my sheet, which came off during the night, was very dirty and stained. Very off putting!

We stayed one night only, we had stayed by the Nottinghill area prior which is much quieter. This is a great location for West End, Piccadilly Circus, SoHo. We chose a room with no window, queen bunks. It’s modern but basic and “affordable” for being in the center of things. They will store luggage for a fee of £15.

The Hotel staff was great and rooms - huh- they were not bad but just very small and without any windows. Also the bed had walls on theee sides- that is what they mean by cocoons. It is the location that is fabulous- 3 mins from picadally circus station, in the heart of soho. It all you intend to do is go to the hotel to sleep this is perfect for the price.

Great location and the dark room was good. I personally missed the tv. Hotel was quiet considering where it is located so that was also good. It was NOT clean once you looked. Stains on bedding, stains on mattress protector. Filthy between bed and wall. Fan in bathroom didn’t work. If you want privacy the cocoon rooms are not for you.

Great spot

I stayed with my mother and it was perfect for us. The rooms were basic but super clean and modern. Beds were like futons so harder for a 70 year old but we both slept perfectly. The location is right in the centre of Piccadilly but it was silent. Highly recommended. We used the cafe downstairs and there’s even a gym too.

Great location and staff poor quality building.

The location is great but it doesnt have a place for cars to park and unload. You have to park on another street and carry your luggage. The staff was nice and helped. The room barly has anything no tables or drawers or anything but matterses. Bathrooms has nothing but toilet paper. If you have kids and luggage know most rooms you can only get to by stairs and I had to pick up my luggage on stairs. To get to my room.

Check in was good and professional. We found the room very bare with no where to put your clothes except on the floor. No headboards on the beds and the room felt clinical. Of course we understand it was a room for someone who had special needs but it was very cold.

The property is really nice and welcome if you are happy not to have a view to the outside. The space is very clean and quiet. The downfall I think is the check in policy, it is very strict and I arrived just after two and needed to wait until 3pm to get into my room so was just hanging around the entrance. You do have the option of paying £40 however this seems very excessive especially since I was told my room was available. Why charge, I get if your hours early to get a priority cleaning server however if the room is empty and ready this seems like a corporate money making scheme and not in the interest of the guest and soils the checkin experience.

First night we were given not the room was reserved, but the really weird one - for a person with disability looking as a hospital room, not working a/c, shower with with a chair that doesn't fold, and finally - second floor - too close to the night club, not being able to sleep well because of loud music. The following two nights were better, already in a right room with good ventilation and quiet enough to sleep.
