LOOK FOR LOCAL YOUTH HOSTEL AS ALTERNATIVE!

DIDN'T EVEN USE THE BOOKING. BELIEVED "HOTELS.COM" WAS FOR HOTELS. DISCOVERED IT WAS A WINDOWLESS BEDROOM. WIFE AND HER SISTER ARE BOTH CLAUSTROPHOBIC SO HAD NO CHANCE OF USING IT. HAD TO FOREGO TWO ROOMS FOR THREE NIGHTS EACH AS UNUSABLE. IN MY VIEW THEY WERE MISSOLD. VERY EXPENSIVE MISTAKE FOR A PENSIONER. POOR DESCRIPTION OF WHAT WAS ON OFFER.

This property is convenient however value of room for cost, not worth it. All you are paying for in convenience. Rooms dont have windows, funiture eg bedside table, hairdryers or decent lighting. You have a bed and washoom.

The room was different than the one booked, but it was a good room. We got the room with the bunks and it was extremely hot on the top bunk. There was no windows in the room, but otherwise it was clean, it was in a great area and we enjoyed our stay.

Good location for central London tourism

Very fast check in and check out, spacious modern room with comfy bed. Just like the photo. Felt it could have been slightly cleaner the bed and bathroom were clean but the floor on the top bunk hasn’t been swept. Other than that it was perfect for a quick stay.

Fine, unless you need to actually talk to someone

Room was clean enough but a lot of wear and tear around the place. Handwash instead of shower gel in the shower, pretty old rag towels. If you are unlucky enough for one of the above ground rooms you can hear every movement of those above you. Most of all though, is that I accidentally left a ring in my room and it has been impossible to get the hotel to respond to my many messages about how to get it back (assuming that they even have a process in place to secure lost and found). The chatbot gives not useful advice, the WhatsApps and emails are ignored.

A Bare Bones, Zero Amenity Hotel PLEASE UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS HOTEL IS ABOUT BEFORE BOOKING YOUR STAY HERE. To start, you will be advised that you can check in early for a fee... or store your luggage for a fee... You will then need to check yourself in, like a self check-out at the grocery store, despite a fair number of staff standing around. You'll then quickly realize that there are no windows in this whole hotel, in the lobby, in your room, nowhere... once you are settled into your amenity free room (no TV, no hairdryer, no iron), you then think "What is this??" It's literally like a prison cell here! A review of the hotel's website acknowledges that there are in fact special rooms to do your ironing or hairdrying, or, you can get one in your room, for a fee... And if that's not enough, you even have to walk down to the front desk to obtain a roll of toilet paper, since they don't replace it in your room, unless of course you have paid for full room services upon your booking. We have done a fair amount of travelling, all across North America, Italy, Ireland and Scotland, and this complete inconvenience of a hotel is by far the worst we have ever stayed. I will add that the hotel is in a great location, but there are a lot of other hotels in the immediate area.

Terrible, Double Charged & Refused to Refund!!!

Stayed in August 2025, with airline strike, we can't make it to out first nigh stay. I called and 2 hotel receptionists said they will adjust nights when we arrive. I was thankful. The we arrived and requested early check-in, I was made to pay 40gbp for it. Now my bill came and not only they charged me still 3 full nights and ALSO billed me the early check-in fee! So they charged me double. I asked for refund because how can you charge the 3 full nights and also early-check in fee, Hotel refused to refund me 40gbp and offered 20% discount on future stay. I do not need the discount. I wanted my refund. But hotel insisted they cannot do refund. As hotel manager, you do not have the authority to rectify your hotel's error charges?? Just awful. They don't even have phone lines to be reached or being answered. I was using Whatsapp. So be warned! I felt being robbed in broad daylight. It was frustrating dealing with hotel. They make a run for your money. And we were already under financial stress with the unexpected expenses due to airline strike and we have this hotel's disgusting business ethics to deal with. Terrible!
