The re is building work being carried put and we wete put into the mmezzanine floor which shpulf have been clised off during theze times eorkmem walking round the corridors amd ourside windows meaning we had to keep the curtains closed at all times! Also these were fall8ng off the rails! It was unsafe and terrinle

Overall, my stay was ok. Pros, fast/easy check-in, great location and the remodeled room was clean. Cons, I expected a small room but would’ve expected the space to be efficiently staged. For instance, a luggage rack would’ve helped since there is no storage for clothes, etc and to provide more than two hangers. Also, the bed was way too firm and the linens were stiff and very uncomfortable. Would not stay again.

Ideal for short stay

Lovely hotel, room was very compact but fine for a 1 night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great for Paddington station and Queensway tube just around the corner.

I have stayed here a number of times and the experience can be hit or miss. This time was a miss. I think i was placed in a room that hasn't been refurbished, or only on the most superficial level. The bathroom had one of those dreadful rain shower heads in a shower so small that getting oneself clean was almost comical. (Not ideal if you are a woman shaving your legs) a sink so compact that washing your hands or face was... a feat. The door appears to show significant warping and water damage. There were few outlets. All far from the bed, and the television was placed/installed in a fashion where there was always an obstructed view from all seated positions. There were many light switches, most didn't seem to do anything. But the most interesting part had to be the paper thin walls. Some lovely gentlemen from the US military were next door and I could hear every detail of their conversation. They weren't loud but i could hear everything. I could hear their burps. Imagine if they were sharing military secrets and one was a spy. That would be a hilarious scandal for the hotel. And as usual a minimum of one lift is out of order. What a time. Have they actually renovated any rooms? A mysyery.
