The hotel is in the middle of being renovated which they did not state before the booking. When we got there the place was covered in scaffolding, the windows were covered in duct tape and plastic so we could not see out. There was a loud noise coming from the drills and other machines being used which made sleeping in the morning a challenge and throughout the day there was the strong smell of paint and dust in the air. Other than location this was not a great stay.

Solid choice for a hotel

Check in is easy and swift, room (newly refurbished) is clean and tidy, perfect for a short stay. Nice bathroom, clean and simple. Lack of storage in room was a bit of an issue although small room had all the features you’d expect in a bigger hotel

This hotel is under construction and should close until the construction is complete. There’s no phone in the room to call for service. You have to go down to reception to get towels. It’s very disorganized chaos.

We were very disappointed in our room. Went to look out the window and the hotel is under renovation. Outside our windows it was piled high with junk and couldnt even see the street. They messed up our room with a friend's room. Gave him the king (he is single) and us the single bed (married couple). Asked for another room and they said they could not accommodate that. The walls were dirty in the single room. We traded with our friend. Would never stay there again. Do have to say the breakfasts were very good!!!

Congratulations for fitting the room with The World's Smallest Shower cubicle. I literally had to stand half in and half out of the shower to perform my ablutions. It is a triumph of design and miniature engineering.

Perfect hotel for our two night city break .

Friendly , courteous reception staff . Refurbished room was very clean and in good order . Good location near Hyde park Room had all you need for a city break , air con , fridge , walk in shower etc

Overall, our stay was great. We would stay again. The room was small, which was fine for us. If you're someone who travels with a lot of suitcases, this room may be too small. The staff was always very helpful.
