New and very modern, and a great location in Leicester Square. This would be a good choice for solo travel. However, our tiny queen-bed room was not comfortable for two, because the bed was tucked into an alcove and one person must climb over the other to get in and out.

Phenomenal hotel! By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at as a solo traveler who’s on a budget. The location was absolutely perfect. The fact that the front desk always had a staff member or often two watching as people came and went made me feel quite safe. The room, while not big, was beyond perfect. Bed comfy, bathroom was excellent, eco friendly with a great shower and bath towels bigger than I have at my own home! The staff were so very nice. And did I mention the impeccable location?!? There was a Tube station just about two blocks away. Theaters within walking distance—one was right across the street! The National Portrait Gallery right there as you stepped out the door! I could not have found a better hotel for my first trip to London at an amazing price. The proximity to so many different things made it easy to see so much in four short days. I definitely will be coming back to London and will certainly stay here every time!!!

Newly renovated hotel. so new you can still smell the fresh paint. Upon arrival was switched from a room with NO window to a corner one with FOUR windows, with the two by the bed directly facing the National Portrait Gallery (which is literally next door). So obviously pleased with that as it was my main reason for choosing the hotel.... Windows are double paned which cuts down on the outside noise. Room is VERY tiny tho' so best for single travelers. Couples could get into fist fights :-)
