This unit is specifically designed with a Solo traveler in mind. While the unit is small, the owner has stuffed it with far to much furniture which only goes to make a cramped space even more so. the coffee table is useless (more of a hazard) that takes up valuable floor. The double bed is against the wall making it more of gymnastic event for a second person to get out of.The internet service was slow and continually dropped. We moved the router to the window sil (after discovering it was a wi-fi router and not hard wired) and things improved slightly.The unit is on the 7th floor so there is not a lot of noise but even with fans, it does get extremely uncomfortable during the hotter months as there is no cross breeze and the building refuses to open windows and do anything to relieve the trapped the heat in the halls. The location is wonderful - a few blocks to South Kensington Station, Victoria and Albert, The Natural History Museum, and Science Museum are right there as well. A Sainsbury is a few hundred feet away and a Marks And Spenser, Waitrose, and Whole Food are all on King's Street which is a little more than a half mile away. Some great nearby pubs (Highly recommend The Brompton Cross) and plenty of shopping.
