Front desk team quite aloof. In general staff were not that friendly or welcoming, especially in comparison to other hotels in the same area & of same level. Room was comfortable and clean, looked into window of next door building. Hotel well located & within walking distance to markets, train etc. I didn't choose to stay here again when I returned to Shoreditch.

Nice location away from the hubub of London's busy tourist areas yet quite accessible using the Metro. Only issue was with the shower/tub. Very xhalltto get in and out of... quite deep...and the faucet system unnecessarily complex.

Beautiful old hotel in an exciting area of Kensington. I walked to the museums once or twice a day for a week and surrounding neighborhoods. Breakfast however, was not good, scrambled eggs we both thought were odd, perhaps powdered. But plenty of coffee and tea shops across the street. We ignored American fast food places and enjoyed the bakeries etc Room had tea and coffee and a lovely huge tub. Very quiet at night thankfully. Would stay here again easily. Also easy walk to Kensington palace and the gardens

I stay here a lot 5/6 times this year to watch cricket -I like convenient location -on tube line direct from heathrow and facilities are good nice bar /interesting restaurant Bugis -singapore influence-and good staff especially very good concierge staff but there are negatives - (1) they dont have extension leads to enable convenient electrical connection for a breathing machine that I need for medical reasons -possible to organise but very tedious (2)TV has become a joke -every time I have been thee this year there are issues -freezing in Course of programmes-no Sky services -and this time no BBC and some other terrestrial programming -reported to front desk each time -"working on it" etc or "engineers went to room and all ok!" but no improvement on any occasion - This may sound like a small issue but these 2 problems are not what you expect from hotel of this class owned by very large international group -Millennium-but worse part is no apparent management response !

In a very nice area literally across the street from a subway station, with numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants around. Lots of interest nearby such as Natural History Museum and Harrods a 15 minute walk away.

Lovely Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at The Baileys Hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was beautiful, and we enjoyed the Afternoon Tea. If I had one complaint it would be the shower. Since I have had both knees replaced recently I struggled with getting in and out of it. But that is truly my only complaint. It was a lovely hotel.

We stayed here 4 days. Our first room was great. Our second had a broken tub drain and it wouldnt drain without the help of someone. This was troubling as we didnt discover it until late on our last evening. We could also not find the TV remote which was turned on when we got to the room. We never used the TV but discovered late at night when going to be we could not turn it off. Didn't want to call the desk so late so I just unplugged it. Love the staff. Very accomodating
