There was no warm water in the shower and told it to the front desk but nothing happened - neither an offer of another room nor a discount The front desk personel was polite, the neighborhood nice, close to Notting Hill gate stadion and a small whole foods market just around the corner

I chose the Abbey as it is a 10 minute walk from my work and was convenient during a week of tube strikes. First, my room was nothing like the advertised room and the bathroom is in need or a major refresh so I do feel misled. The bed was actually very comfortable. Initially the television didn’t work but was put right by a helpful member of staff. For my particular needs, it was fine. The hotel is accommodation only but there’s numerous eating places just minutes away. Top marks to the staff who were exceptional.
