This trendy area blends old and new, with modern apartment blocks and hip clubs as well as historic pubs like Grapes, which dates back to the 16th century. Limehouse is known for its culinary scene, which encompasses everything from vegan brunch to traditional pub fare to a range of international options. Anyone who likes to cook will be pleased to know there are several excellent supermarkets in the area. The neighbourhood also has a marina set within Limehouse Basin. On the weekend, head to St James Gardens for a picnic or to relax with a book. Limehouse is served by C2C and Docklands Light Railway trains.
