Standard holiday inn express as you would expect. No thrills in the room but staff were excellent. Great customer service and security played and attended to my young kids very well and friendly. Wanted to change rooms as my one smelt bad and had flies on the window seal and they apologised straight away and accomodated another room quickly.

Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Room was adaquate for our needs. Under the beds had not been cleaned very well though, toys and wrapper from a previous stay. There was also a leak by the toilet which meant the tiles were wet - just annoying getting a wet sock when you go to the toilet. Informed the reception staff and they said they would inform maintenence.

Bedroom carpet badly stained and dirty.needs replacing At 3 am horrendous traffic noise woke us both,did not get back to sleep!!! Bed was comfy pillows lumpy Bathroom really good shower excellent Breakfast good ,plentiful , staff pleasant . Parking was not complementary! We had conversation with reception staff about traffic and filthy carpet . They obviously cannot do anything about traffic but said they would check out carpet . Did say other side of hotel a bit quieter ? .wouldn't stay again in room 220 .we need to sleep !!! Kept shoes on due to state of carpet usually remove shoes
