This was our second time staying here in winter this year after deciding to stick to what we know. It can be a risk with budget hotels but Europa does the job. We don’t travel to London often but we do stay in a lot of hotels and found this hotel cleaner than a lot of the branded, budget hotels that we use. The rooms are simple with old-fashioned decor and furniture but clean with decent carpets, blackout curtains and nothing tatty-looking. The room has Roku TV with options for Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ etc., Tea & coffee making facilities, soap and shower gel, towels replaced after our first night, Big, fluffy pillows and a large, fluffy blanket (that wasn’t needed as the rooms run hot). This isn’t a hotel for a fancy ‘wow’ experience but it does the job. The reception staff are really friendly and helpful. You can leave your luggage before check-in and after checkout for a small charge so you can spend the day exploring (email them in advance to let them know if you want to drop luggage off early before check-in). Location-wise, Europa House Hotel is less than ten minutes’ walk from Paddington station and close to restaurants and shops. Just a 20 minute walk from Hyde Park so a nice walk to get to Winter Wonderland. We will be staying here again for our next trip.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! It is very central. Clean, the staff was always so courteous, we really felt at home here. The bathroom was small, but it was still a very comfortable room, exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommended!

Room was very dirty. Floor had not been hoovered. Bed sheets had brown stains on them. Tiny bathroom with zero places to hang towels to dry. Plus the shower switch was broken and only provided 2 tiny towels for 2 people no hand towel. Quiet room though and easy check in.

I was welcomed with a lovely smile from a young man at reception. When I was checking in the guy, said that they had upgraded my room. I got to my room , it was very clean smelt very fresh. Nice shower with plenty of hot running water. Bed was comfortable and blankets were available. The bathroom was very clean and decorated to good standard.

The accomodation is about 5 minute walk from paddington station, local to a few bars and cafes, parking is limited. The reception was manned , there is no lift and if on the top floor this is a troublesome time with luggage . The room was basic, noise from traffic died down around 1130pm single pane glass was cold, room measured around 7ft wide by 18ft long, electronic key card, bathroom could be a problem if a medium+ build, sink around chest height, shower small fixed not very powerfull and made the floor wet, tourist information point in reception, the toiletries consistered of soap and hair/shower gel, ample towels and spare toilet roll, no food available but plenty cafes around so not a problem

The place was ok. Clean sheets, hot showers, two things we needed. But, unless you travel with just a backpack, climbing 60 steps to the third floor with luggage and then back down was horrendous!! The room could have used a good deep cleaning-the ceiling fan looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the day it was installed!! The shower soap holder same thing!! The bathroom towel rack was barely hanging on the way, But, put those three things aside, clean room, clean sheets, hot shower, tea/coffee. It would have been nice to have TV for “noise”, but you had to log into your own TV stuff. Centrally located to Paddington Train station a block away, great location. Restaurants & sidewalk shopping. Overall for the price it was fine for the two nights we were there and I forgot to mention that they hold your luggage when you arrive before checkin time which was extremely helpful to be able to go sightsee without lugging around your luggage. I don’t have pictures of the shower caddy or the ceiling fan, I was going to take pictures of both, but didn’t.
