You get what you paid for, value and good for price, but you will get budget guests: noisy, dirty and loud.

Few minutes walk from the tube but in a quiet street. The perfect position and a nice structure. I loved the back "garden".. even had take away McDonald's in there.. a cheap version of a French dinner! The room was a bit old, the bed cover as a hospital but the bed was comfy enough. They have a small cafe at the reception but you need cash with you. We had the double en suite and we were very pleased to find a minibar in the room! 4 night 220 P in Hammersmith, who care about the sheets! Excellent bargain and very friendly staff. Could improve cleaning and design but maybe you'll pay more then that.. Definitely booking there if back in London, Luana.

Cheap and Cheerful

For a cheap & cheerful hotel I have no complaints. Was surprised that the communal showers and toilet facilities (more than one set of each on the floor I was on) were not gender specific, meaning I needed to get both dry and re-dressed in a soaking wet shower cubical (but then I was not brave enough to walk the corridors wearing nothing but a towel and smile). Plenty of kitchen facilities on the floor for those that want to make their own food and beverages (bring your own tea bags). The (single) bed was comfortable enough, but with a deep mattresses it meant the single bed sheet didn’t tuck in properly. I guess that comfort comes at a sacrifice. The location is a quiet side street just off Hammersmith’s notorious one way system, but you wouldn’t have known it. There’s a fantastic pub (The Queens Head Brook Green) in walking distance, and the Hammersmith Broadway Centre (inc. Picc / Dist underground station) with the typical fast food outlets and shops within 3 minutes walk) Classy hotel it isn’t (nor does it pretend to be. Clean and functional it is. Lacking a few home comforts, but would I stay there again... absolutely!!
