"The hotel is quite modern, and the reception is fairly nice. There's a restaurant, which is also where breakfast is served. Check-in wasn't the most convenient; they asked for your details and then made you check in via the touch screen anyway, which, when you're just trying to get into your room after a very long day (it was late in the evening), is the last thing you want to struggle with. If you are already standing there and it's quiet, it would just be a nice customer service touch to take the stress away and do it for the customer. Rooms are modern but very small. You can touch most of the walls while standing in one spot. The bed was comfortable, and I didn't miss the lack of a window as it was late anyway. An AC unit helped bring in cool air, so it didn't get too stuffy. The TV has a casting feature, which is handy for Netflix or YouTube. The shower was powerful, but I did notice a slight sewer smell, which is less pleasant. No free tea or coffee was a shame; I can understand the lack of a kettle in the room to save on space and costs, but other hotels then offer it free in reception. I paid £2.50 for a tea, bit steep! I slept pretty well and noted that it was quiet (helped by the lack of windows). In summary, it's a fairly clean, comfortable place to get your head down for a few hours. Just not the sort of place I'd want to spend a long weekend."
