"Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff did a great job. Breakfast was ok and the bath/shower area needs a little work - some patching and needs some new chaulking. Overall pretty good, we would stay here again as the price was right and location was good."

"We had a great stay at the Gettysburg. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The hotel was very clean, the staff were always visible cleaning and everyone greeted us in passing. The location is in the center of everything which made it easy to walk to most of the sites. The restaurants nearby were all very good. The thing that stands out the most for us was the wonderful attentive staff. My boyfriend was out front late one night and found an older man who pulled up in front of the hotel the man was confused, and lost, he may have had Alzheimer’s. The overnight staff was wonderful and so caring. They all worked together and got him a room. My boyfriend, the staff and the police, helped to make sure this man was safe until his daughter could drive in to get him the following morning."

"The location is very good. It is on Cemetary Hill and a very short walk to the monument marking the spot of the Gettysburg Address. You can easily walk from the hotel to explore parts of the Gettysburg National Battlefield. It is also very close to lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. There is plenty of parking and they had a decent breakfast and the staff were very attentive to keeping everything in order. I appreciated that the air conditioner in our room ran at a consistent level which makes it easier to sleep. My only complaint is that our room was very damp. It was very humid outside, so hard to avoid I guess. All in all I was very happy with the stay."
