"We loved this place. It is a charming converted barn apartment with two decks, overlooking farm and forest views. Physically comfortable and roomy the interior provided us with all we needed for three adults. The hosts, at our request, provided us with a tour of their working organic farm. Otherwise, they gave us our privacy. We observed deer frolicking in the fields during the morning mist daily. The weather was blustery and rainy but nevertheless we enjoyed a walk on the trail down to the creek and toured the farm, but yet were snug and cozy. If you like cats, the farm cats are friendly and welcoming. If you don’t like cats, they will keep their distance. We found them all very endearing and they made us really feel at home. We were in the area for a family funeral but liked the place so much we plan to return during happier times and better weather. If you are looking to get away from city life to peaceful, more remote locations but have all the comforts of home, this is a nice retreat."

"Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and well stocked. We were even thrilled to see that there was a high chair for our toddler. We enjoyed sharing meals at the large family table and sipping coffee while staring out the bay window to the meadow. Highly recommend this property to other travelers. "House was as shown in the photos, nicely decorated and comfortable. The beds were really comfortable. Everything was clean and had more than what you would expect of a vacation rental. It was only 15 minutes to town, river was at the end of the drive. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay."

"Sasquatch Ranch was the perfect destination for our writing retreat. The big, spacious, bright, and meticulous house had so many comfortable options to sit, lounge, write, and relax. The great views of the pastures, garden, and barn made the space feel like a real getaway. The house is beautifully appointed with warm blankets, ample kitchen equipment, and all amenities, making it an ideal space for up to 5 people in the main house. The croaking bullfrogs make a great soundtrack for the evening. And the nearby Willapa Hills trail meant we could get out for great walks. Ralph was a generous host who surprised us with fresh bread and applesauce and communicated frequently to ensure that we had everything we needed. A truly pleasurable experience all around. Well definitely be back!"
