The room was excellent, clean and I appreciated the view as well as the sofa for alternative seating, outside of the usual room chairs. I also very much appreciated the bath tub as some hotels only have standing showers.

Our stay at the Golden Nugget was excellent, we were there to celebrate my boyfriend birthday. The room was very clean, the staff all around was very courteous from the guy that checked us in to even the security guards there. We had dinner at one of the restaurants called the Chart House and everything there was excellent, food and staff alike.,We would definitely stay there again.

I arrive at the hotel to check in and my reservation could not be found. The hotel staff said I needed to contact Expedia, after 15 minutes I finally found a number to call at Expedia. After going through the process, I finally got someone who answered, and then another 15 mins later he comes back on the line and said he had another hotel for me to go too. It is 9:30pm at this point, I already waited over 30 mins waiting, I wanted to get into my bed and be done. The manager (hotel) comes over and states, I told the representative they need to just need to rebook it, but the (Expedia) wanted to change me to entire different hotel. So I told him to refund me my money and I booked directly with the same hotel I was at. I requested a manager call me, and Expedia stated it would be 2-3 hour wait time and I still never got it.

Craig, the bartender was the absolute BEST!!! He was a true barman and great personality that exemplified the Golden Nugget's dedication to service. Also, Chazz on the roulette table was fantastic. I didn't win, but had a great time. He was very helpful to all the newcomers at the table and created a fun, connected experience. This was my first time staying at Golden Nugget, but will highly recommend and look forward to seeing you all again.

The room appeared to be renovated, relatively clean, although I kept finding little beads in the carpet, must have fallen off someone's blouse. That made me think that the floors weren't vacuumed well. The mist noticible negative impression, though, was from a very thin wall between our room and the adjacent room. We heard everything that was going on in the next room the both evenings we stayed there. I understand, this is Atlantic City, and people are excited and don't go to bed until morning. Abd that is fine, as long as my room is quiet when I need it. So sound proofing needs to be improved. Other than that, our stay was a solid 8 out of 10.
