This was our first trip to Las Vegas and the Plaza hotel was recommended. Way too noisy and smells, no comfortable seating in the room no shower safety bars (we were offered shower chair). Bath towels looked old and used.

Sketchy smoking fine.

Stay was fine, until they tried to get us at checkout for a very large fine for smoking in the room and neither of us smoke. It was 5:50am and we asked to speak to a manager and they would be there at 6am. My girl had said she had read complaints about this and most people lose this argument. I got on the phone and quickly researched the subject and it said request the graph that shows when the violation allegedly occured, and they supplied it. It said 2:30pm, which is when we besically checked in. As we voiced our displeasure of their fleecing attempt, the manager offered to send a security guard upto the room to "investigate". They did, and came back and said they didnt smell smoke or see "evidence" of smoking. Well, they waived the charge, but I guess thats really rare. They didn't mention the violation during checkout, I looked at the receipt and caught it. Glad we were there when I found out. Interestingly, after we had left, i said wait a minute. We went straight to the room, dropped our stuff off, and then immediately went to a local Walmart. I had taken a couple timestamped photos that showed we weren't even in the room at the claimed time of smoking in there. So, this sounds like a problem around Vegas. My advice, take a couple cellphone pics while your out and about, just in case you need proof you werent even in the room. We will try somewhere else on our next trip. And CHECK YOUR BILL CAREFULLY AT CHECKOUT.

hotel smells like a sewer! windows are so dirty. lighting in bathroom is very poor can’t see well enough to do hair makeup…. parking area is dirty.

The entire hotel smelled, our room smelled, later discovered mold in the room and it was very hard to sleep with allergies. The room was dated and not as advertised for a four-star hotel. Paid almost $400 for one night for a terrible experience.
